we decided to let the boys open their stockings at home on christmas eve before we left for the festivities at gg's house. you know, so they would actually be excited about animal crackers, "big boy" undies, and toothpaste (though they did feature their friends dora, thomas, bob, and larry).

but i do have a picture of the little guy who decided to walk instead.
it was an incredibly fun day! we were so happy to be with our family this year. and i think they were pretty happy to have us back too.
