I saw my parents tonight. On their 35th wedding anniversary. And didn't even think to give them a congrats (much less a card or a gift....).
Granted, the night was ruled by a certain 3 year-old's birthday. But still.
So, with a few minutes to spare before their day is over, happy anniversary Mom and Dad. You've done well, and are well loved ~

I have to comment on this :) Your parents hold such a special place in my heart!! I hope they had a wonderful anniversary surrounded by the people who are most dear and maybe Mr. Higdon woke up with Valentine's hair circa 1996 :)
