what we've been up to

staying cool in this crazy alabama heat~

and trying to keep the crazy alabama mosquitoes away...
(can you spot the little sucker?)

hanging out with the cousins~

popsicles.

and frozen yogurt at each of the dozen or so yogurt places that have popped up all over birmingham.

picking out our own outfits~

charlie recently decided that he loves his cowboy boots that his aunt bought in november. he wants to wear them with everything, despite the 100 degree heat. and i let him. 1) picking my battles. 2) adorable.

and of course little brother decided that he needed boots too, and found these on his own. they are about 4 sizes too big. and again, i let him. he even clonked his way through the babies in the nursery at church tonight.

hanging out before bedtime~

bike riding. kinda.

we bought a trailer for our bikes and the boys have had a blast riding behind their dad. so much so that sam wouldn't take off his helmet for a week.
safety first!

waking up to muffins, flowers, and snuggly boys on my birthday.

one of them even made me a playdough birthday cake all by himself (and blew the candles out by himself too).

my sister bought me a more edible one.

hiking~

guiding sam along the way. love.

finding treasures~

rock climbing 101.

and a little spelunking~

one hot family.

Loved Gray sucking his belly in because of cold water.
Loved Sam learning how to eat a popsicle from Charlie.
Love Sam with popsicle all over his face.
Loved Charlie with the number 3 hat and boots on. He has definitely been around Lacey.
Love and must have Sam laying on his belly with his boot in the air.
And I didn't know you had to wear a helmet to play playdough. (look at his sweet little legs)
